Now that I got your attention.... I will explain what a cliff hanger is. first thing, it is a story telling device. it leave the reader hungry encouraging the reader to keep reading. A cliff hanger includes dramatic scenes, suspense and excitement.An example of a cliff hanger is like in the book of "The Hunger Games" where they announce that two tributes can win. Also when Peeta reveals his love for Katniss is a suspenseful moment because we want to know how the crowd acts and how she acts.

ReplyDeletePerla, this could be a lesson on cliffhangers AND hooks because of how you grab the reader's attention. I like the layout of your blog a lot. Now that you have the content, I would suggest going back and revising for 'word choice' issues. "He's" should be "his" and "suspense" should be in the adjective form- "suspenseful". Now its all about fine tuning.
