- Interviews always get me to think the main question: "Tell us about yourself"... That question always gets everyone. Well at least me. I don't know why but it always happens, I stay quiet and maybe I don't like saying anything because I don't want to sound coincident. I guess I would say. I like to talk a lot, and i also make friends easily therefore I think I would be perfect for a job that involves talking because I will be able to communicate with people fast.
- An other question that always get to me is "Tell me a challenging situation you have overcome" I think that, that is a hard question for me to answer because I get very emotionally. Something challenging I had to overcome was when both my dad and brother got deported. I think that is very challenging because at that time they were the people my mom, sister and I pretty much looked up to, especially since "the man of the house" had gone. and both. But then we realized that we don't need any man in our life's.
- "Have you ever volunteered before? doing what?" Yes, I have volunteered. I've volunteered at the coastal beach cleanup in November, I also had an option in high school of taking a class in the infant lab, or to not have a fourth period. And I obviously had to take that opportunity since I love being with children. Somewhere else I have volunteered is at the restaurant Prado. I volunteered with my culinary arts class in high school. Lately I am volunteering at San Diego High, I help the ASB room with whatever they need help in. Like posters, filing papers, helping other kids around the campus. And so on.

10 top interview questions
EXCELLENT :)
Doesn't it suck when you go to a store and no one in the store asks if you are doing fine, if you need help or anything like that? I mean it is their job to to ask approach you and see how everything is going.
I've had that type of customer service, but this time i will talk about good customer service.
So a couple of months ago we got invited to a wedding and they had registered in Target for gifts. When we went the computers were working just fine, until we decided to print. There was an employee there she was just keeping an eye at us. At first I thought i was a bit creepy until she walked up to us and she asked if everything was going okay. We told her what happen and she said "well we have other computers upstairs, maybe you should try those." We did and she stayed there to see if they worked and they also didn't. So she tried everything to help us and stayed with us till there was really nothing left to do. At the end she ended up printing the paper for us from one of their computers. I thought it was a good Costumer service because instead of just leaving us there she pretty much struggled with us until the end.

WORLD
PROBLEM
That pretty much describes us. We complain about the smallest things in life without even hesitating on how other kids or families are in other countries. We worry to much about having the latest technology, that we need more than just water in the house, if we have this years shoes, purses clothes. When other people out in the world don't have anything to eat, they fight over water and they don't even have anything to wear but the sane clothes for years.
And we can't say we have never complained about anything that they mention in the video. I know I have many times, after watching this video I know that I should so they can give me the F.W.P kit. And when I am done i can defiantly give it to someone who is in need.

"Don't stop believing... unless your dream is stupid" - Journey
A while ago we saw a video. That's one of the quotes that stayed with me. It kept replaying in my head over and over again, and it is true. If you really think you can get what you believe in then why would you stop? just because some people are pushing you down? I mean I think that if that person is telling you that is because that person couldn't accomplish their dream. Or their dream was stupid. When I heard this video it really encourged me to follow my dreams. Kid President is JUST a kid, and look at him giving us a pep talk if he can we sure as hell can too.
"What if Michael Jordan had quit?"

Marc Corsini
This video had me shaking my head the whole time. Most of everything he said i do. Just like he said, I tend to practice only once, and that is maybe why i always get so nervous. I also tend to talk fast, so that way i can hurry up and I wont have to be up there for a long time. I also say a lot of "ums", and "so". This video really opened my eyes, and that for my next presentation next week. I will have just enough slides and not to many pictures but not to little. I will have my audience with a WOW and I will make sure to have "client interaction"
Steve Jobs
When I saw the video of Steve Jobs, I got impressed. That's how I knew that every presentation I have ever done, isn't good. i learned many stuff like: i need to identify a the theme, i also need to make my theme clear, i also need to create a headline, and if i offer any type of statistics i need to make them meaningful. Most importantly, I need to give my audience a show, make them have a " :O " face. But on top of that, like Steve Jobs i need to rehearse, rehearse, and keep rehearsing.
